Dr Albert Tiu

Dr Albert Tiu is a urological surgeon with extensive training and experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques such as Laparoscopic (keyhole) and Robotic Surgery. Besides general urology, he has special interests and expertise in urinary tract and kidney stone disease, and in particular the treatment and management of all Genitourinary Cancers (Prostate/Bladder/Kidney/Testes/Penis & Adrenal Glands.
Dr Tiu received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney in 1999 and completed his advanced urological training in various hospitals in Canberra and New South Wales, Australia.
After receiving full accreditation from the Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology to practice as a specialist in Australia.
Dr Tiu further undertook a Laparoscopic/Robotic Uro-oncology fellowship training at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea with Professor Koon Rha at the Severance Hospital which is highly acclaimed internationally for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery. After this he then proceeded to complete another prestigious urological oncology fellowship at the University of Miami, Florida USA along side world renowned uro-oncology surgeons Professor Mark Soloway, Professor Murugesan Manoharan and Professor Dipen Parekh.
